In 4 key words from my CliftonStrengths Themes, I am a Strategic Learner and a Commanding Achiever.
I enjoy collaborating with others and gathering insights to help make great decisions. I'm having the most fun in my work when I can help others to consider new questions or look at a situation from new angles, and then integrate technologies to solve a problem.
I first fell in love with computers and technology by investigating with the PC my dad ran his small business on. This included a fair bit of experimenting and then learning how to fix it. Over the years I built dozens of computers, from designing the system and purchasing the hardware components to installing and configuring all the software. I've continued to grow and refine my skills and techniques, but I still have the raw fascination and passion for understanding how technologies work, and the joy of then sharing with others how the right solutions can help in their situations.
I've created a few PowerShell Modules that I hope you will find useful. If you give them a try and customize them, or wish they did something else (or even if they'd NOT do something you find irritating or confusing) please do let me know, and I'd be glad to collaborate.
